Datura Gauthier sat on the edge of the crystal clear lake with her wand drawn. She was levitating drops of water from the lake's surface and trying to transfigure them into butterflies. As soon as they took shape however, they would fall back into droplets and make waves on the surface. Frustrated, she flicked her wrist and calmed the surface, making it like glass again. She inhaled slowly through her nose, then out through her mouth and repositioned her wand. Slowly she lifted a large sphere of water, swished her wand to form the butterfly's wings, then with a final wave transfigured the water. Satisfied with herself, she sat back and watched it fly away. She turned around to see someone coming towards her in the distance, and squinted against the sunlight to see who it was.
